Nick Snape

Senior C&I Engineer

Nick is a senior EC&I engineer with nearly a decade of experience delivering control systems, instrumentation solutions, and facility upgrades across the UK nuclear sector and beyond. With a strong foundation in both design and site-based delivery, he has led complex EC&I programmes for fusion and tidal test rigs and supported long-term engineering and obsolescence solutions at major nuclear power stations.

His technical expertise spans the full project lifecycle; from concept development and software specification to commissioning and operational support. Nick has delivered multi-year test rig programmes, overseeing control system architecture, PLC logic integration, and third-party equipment compatibility. At EDF, he has worked on site-based instrumentation upgrades and reliability-driven modifications across the nuclear fleet, including authoring Engineering Changes for AV3 safety systems.

Fluent in the production of high-quality technical documentation, Nick regularly authors tender packages, test specifications, and AutoCAD schematics for safety-critical systems. His practical approach and commitment to robust engineering make him a trusted contributor to high-integrity infrastructure projects.
